Jessica Abrahams, Cheryl Orr and Courtney Wylie to Participate in Daily Journal’s Women Leadership in Law Forum

Overview

Partner Cheryl Orr is co-chairing the third annual Women Leadership in Law Forum on May 9, presented by the Daily Journal, in Beverly Hills, California. The keynote speaker for the event is Sally Yates, former deputy attorney general. Partner Jessica Abrahams and Well-Being Specialist Courtney Wylie are among the speakers at the day-long event, attended by senior in-house counsel and law firm leaders from across the country.

Jessica’s panel, “Women Who Make it Rain,” includes a high-powered group of women rainmakers — moderated by Cheryl — sharing how they have successfully generated new business in the face of competing priorities both in and out of the workplace. Courtney moderates “Thrive, Not Survive: Science-Based Strategies to Thrive and Not Just Survive as a Leading Lawyer,” which will explore tactics to manage stress effectively and optimize performance through well-being and self-care.

The Women Leadership in Law Forum brings together some of the most talented law firm and in-house practitioners to participate in insightful discussions on timely issues that are of great importance and relevance to the legal profession and women leaders. This interactive forum features networking opportunities for past, present and future women leaders in law firms and law departments to get to know one another better and exchange thoughts and ideas.
