Philadelphia partner Beth Diffley participated on a panel titled “Latest Developments and Best Practices in Annual Reporting, Proxy Statements and Investor Communications” at Donnelley Financial Solutions’ 2018 Philadelphia Corporate Securities Forum on September 27.

The panel of industry professionals discussed the recent disclosure rule change and trends in shareholder activism over the past year. They also discussed developing practices in shareholder engagement and issues of intensifying interest in proxy disclosures, including board diversity, director skills and accountability, and executive pay. Facilitated by an ISS representative, the panel considered certain ISS recommendations and the timeline for ISS’ 2019 policy update.
