The DOL Fiduciary Standard Rule: What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been!

Washington, D.C. partner Brad Campbell gave a keynote address at the Investment Program Association’s Summit 2017 on May 3, 2017, regarding the DOL’s fiduciary regulation.

Brad’s presentation, “The DOL Fiduciary Standard Rule: What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been!” included a regulatory update on the DOL fiduciary rule, the next steps in preparing for the June 9th partial implementation date, and what a fiduciary standard means for direct-sold investments. His fellow keynote speakers were Tim Pawlenty, President and CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable, and Mark Calabria, Chief Economist for Vice President Mike Pence.
