Health Care Compliance Association's 19th Annual Compliance Institute

Steve Lokensgard of Faegre Baker Daniels will join the Health Care Compliance Association's 19th Annual Compliance Institute to discuss "Transformers: The Changing Face of Health Care Delivery," alongside Derek H. Kang of Allina Health. Their session on April 21 will cover:

• Recent changes in the ways non-physicians are being used to deliver health care services and the increasing popularity of retail clinics. Changes to state laws will be discussed as well as relevant compliance issues.
• How health systems are delivering services, making diagnoses and writing prescriptions based solely on communication via the Internet.
• New ways the technology is being applied to telehealth services, changes in law and CMS guidance that have facilitated these developments, and reimbursement for cutting-edge methods of delivering health care services.

The Annual Compliance Institute, taking place April 19-22, provides health care professionals an opportunity to attend sessions on health care reform, hospital physician alignment, compliance effectiveness and HIPAA privacy/data breach.
