Following the success of our first quarterly call, the employment and immigration team at Faegre Baker Daniels is delighted to invite you to its second dial-in HR discussion group. These calls are short (40-minute) informal sessions where we update you on a hot topic in employment and/or immigration law and then give you an opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences with others.

At the next session, we will discuss the key differences between employment laws in the USA and England. Many of our clients have operations in both jurisdictions, and an understanding of the basic concepts in each is essential to appreciate the viewpoint and pressures facing our colleagues. On the call, we will run through areas such as recruitment, employment contracts, dismissal and claims and present a brief summary of the main points to remember in each jurisdiction.
