2013 American Bar Association Annual Meeting

David Gross, partner in FaegreBD's intellectual property practice, will moderate a panel about the current and future state of patent markets. Panelists will discuss how monetization models for patent assets continue to evolve as the value of those assets remains apparent from events transpiring in the courtroom and at the negotiation table. Topics covered will include how high-profile, high-volume patent sales between large corporations such as IBM and Google and high-profile transactions involving several corporations collaborating to acquire patents from distressed companies such as Novell and Kodak are helping to shape this evolution.
