  • Dee Armstrong (Benefits & Executive Compensation/2012) was promoted to associate general counsel at Illinois Toy Works.
  • David Buddingh (Construction & Real Estate Litigation/2011) was promoted to general counsel at Homie.
  • Luke Karamyalil (Government & Regulatory/2018) was promoted to manager, economic sanctions and export control at KPMG.
  • Susan Lester (Intellectual Property/2014) joined Kimberly-Clark as the assistant general counsel – baby & child care – North America.
  • Lauren Mack (Health Care/1986) started her own firm, the Law Office of Lauren Mack.
  • Julie Workman (Real Estate/2000) joined Saul Ewing as a partner.
  • Fatema Zanzi (Health Care/2006) was promoted to executive vice president, chief administrative and legal officer with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.


Fort Wayne

  • Michael Miller (Intellectual Property/2019) joined Forestar Group, Inc. as associate real estate counsel.
  • Julieanne Roggenkamp (Construction & Real Estate Litigation/2019) is now an assistant district attorney with the Milwaukee District Attorney’s Office.


  • Abhishek Dube (Health Care/2010) was promoted to partner at Baker McKenzie.
  • Rozlyn Fulgoni-Britton (Labor & Employment/2009) was promoted to assistant general counsel, Americas employment law and NAM immigration law head at Infosys.
  • Ena Kaur (Benefits & Executive Compensation/2017) joined U.S. Bank as vice president and assistant general counsel executive compensation.
  • Nicholas Kunz (Intellectual Property/2015) joined Eli Lilly and Company as senior director – patent counsel neuroscience.
  • Dan Williams (Intellectual Property/2018) is now a partner with Scott Williams Law LLC.

  • Jeff Cohn (Real Estate/2008) joined Vir Biotechnology as vice president, corporate law.

  • Erik Askelsen (Insurance/2018) joined American Equity as executive vice president and general counsel.
  • Emily Damman (Business Litigation/2016) is now the president of Beacon Capital Management.
  • Karianne Jones (Products Liability & Mass Torts/2015) joined Biden for President as litigation counsel.



  • Scholastica Baker (Product Liability & Mass Torts/2018) was recently featured in Modern Counsel where she spoke about her personal and professional journey and career aspirations.
  • Lance Bonner (Corporate/2017) joined Inspire Medical Systems as associate general counsel, corporate & assistant secretary.
  • Gabriel Branco (Corporate/2021) joined Nilfisk as U.S. corporate legal counsel.
  • Ashlee Cherne-Hendrick (Corporate/2017) joined Taft Stettinius & Hollister as of counsel.
  • Hanna Coleman (Business Litigation/2013) was promoted to managing attorney, commercial, litigation, labor & employment and claims at Xcel Energy.
  • Valerie Darling (Labor & Employment/2006) joined the Metropolitan Council as labor relations program manager.
  • Theresa Dykoschak (Finance & Restructuring/2005) was promoted to pro bono director with The Advocates for Human Rights.
  • Pete Farrell (Finance & Restructuring/2011) is now deputy solicitor general at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General.
  • Myron Frans (Business Litigation/1999) is now senior advisor to the President at the University of Minnesota.
  • Jamal Knight (Real Estate/2013) was promoted to partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.
  • Ryan Long (Business Litigation/2013) was promoted to president of Xcel Energy Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
  • Kristen Marttila (Business Litigation/2005) was appointed to the Hennepin County judicial bench by Governor Walz in January 2024. Kristen became District Court Judge for the 4th Judicial District and is chambered in Minneapolis, MN.
  • Eva Mendelsohn (Intellectual Property/2014) is now senior principal IP counsel at Medtronic.
  • Tim O’Brien (Construction & Real Estate Litigation/1991) was appointed by Governor Walz as the chair of the Minnesota Board on Judicial Standards.
  • Tom Osteraas (Finance & Restructuring/2001) was promoted to assistant secretary and legal director, corporate and securities at Medtronic.
  • Staci Perdue (Business Litigation/2014) was promoted to vice president and assistant general counsel at Wells Fargo.
  • Patrick Shane (Corporate/2008) was promoted to general counsel at Garda Capital Partners.
  • Mark Sides (Corporate/1994) was promoted to SVP, chief compliance and ethics officer and deputy general counsel, government affairs at Voya Financial.
  • Allan Thoen (Corporate/2001) joined Sandoz as director and associate general counsel.
  • Erika Toftness (Business Litigation/2007) is now of counsel with Larkin Hoffman.
  • Thomas Trier (Corporate/2014) joined Thrivent as director, senior counsel.

  • Kristin Curatolo (Private Client/2013) was elected to The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
  • Daniel Dorfman (Products Liability and Mass Tort/2017) was promoted to assistant general counsel at SK Life Science, Inc.
  • John Glass (Real Estate/2012) was promoted to director at Gibbons P.C.
  • Deirdre Kole (Products Liability and Mass Tort/2005) received the Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) 2023 Outstanding Contributor Award for her leadership on behalf of civil litigation rules reform.
  • Nik Komyati (Commercial Litigation/2003) has joined Fox Rothschild as a partner.
  • Brianna Kostecka (Commercial Litigation/2010) was promoted to VP counsel and chief compliance officer at OUTFRONT Media.
  • Josh Rinschler (Labor & Employment/2008) joined AIG as associate general counsel, employment law.
  • Greg Settembrino (Labor & Employment/2018) joined Everest as associate general counsel, employment law.


  • J.C. Jones (Construction & Real Estate Litigation/2015) was promoted to assistant general counsel at Vanguard.

  • Kay Gordon (New York/2013) joined Foley & Lardner LLP as a partner.
  • Ben Kralstein (Corporate/2013) was promoted to partner at Mayer Brown.



  • David Antczak (Commercial Litigation/1997) is now senior vice president & general counsel at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
  • Leslie Gillin Bohner (Litigation and Private Client/1992) was promoted to vice president, chief fiduciary officer and general trust counsel at Fiduciary Trust International.
  • Isabel Duffy (Commercial Litigation/1998) was promoted to SVP, chief ethics and compliance officer at Merck.
  • Ken Frazier (Commercial Litigation/1971) was named a “Lifetime Achievement” honoree by The American Lawyer. Lifetime Achievement honorees are recognized for making impacts on the profession and their communities that go well beyond their day-to-day practice. A trailblazing business leader, Ken most recently served as the chair and CEO of Merck and is currently the chairman, health assurance initiatives at General Catalyst.
  • Heather Giordanella (Business Litigation/2008) is a mediator and founder of Dynamic Mediation Services.
  • Josh Kaplowitz (Environmental Litigation/2007) joined Locke Lord LLP as senior counsel.
  • Richard Levan (Commercial Litigation/1999) joined Dailey LLP as a partner.
  • Amy McDonald (Corporate/1999) joined SupplyOne, Inc. as vice president and assistant general counsel.
  • Matt Meltzer (Corporate/2017) was promoted to shareholder with Flaster Greenberg PC.
  • Meredith Nissen (Products Liability and Mass Tort/2004) was promoted to executive director, legal, U.S. regulatory and MRL with Merck.
  • Ralph Rodak (Real Estate/1988) joined Ethos Development, LLC as executive vice president, legal affairs.
  • Jay Volk (Corporate/1996) was promoted to chief growth officer at etherFAX.
  • Jennifer Wnek (Environment and Energy/2008) joined DLA Piper as a partner.
  • Adam Yoffie (Commercial Litigation/2016) was promoted to executive director, head of C&E investigations & BMS integrity line at Bristol Myers Squibb.

  • Ute Quinn (Litigation/1992) joined Brinks, Inc. as senior vice president and general counsel, North America.
