CB Baga Named 2020 ‘Business of Pride’ Honoree by the MSPBJ

CB Baga, Faegre Drinker associate, has been named a 2020 ‘Business of Pride’ honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ).

 

The awards recognize outstanding LGBTQ business professionals, allies and/or advocates in the Twin Cities. Furthermore, the MSPBJ examined professional successes attained by nominees, in addition to how they are making a difference regarding the advancement of equality in the business world.

 

Baga, who is an associate in the Business Litigation group, is a trial lawyer who focuses on securing advantages for clients in complex commercial disputes, with focus on complex contract, insurance, and trade secret and noncompete disputes.

 

In relation to Baga’s pro bono legal practice, Baga founded a community clinic that provides legal services to LGBTQ members in the Twin Cities. The clinic operates in partnership with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and the Family Tree Clinic. Since founding the clinic, Baga has served over 200 pro bono clients. In addition, Baga assists pro bono clients who are victims of violence in obtaining orders for protection (restraining orders).

 

Baga and other ‘Business of Pride’ honorees, will be recognized at an awards ceremony on June 11 in Minneapolis.
