Philadelphia Business Journal Names Drinker Biddle Among “2018 Best Places to Work”

The Philadelphia Business Journal named Drinker Biddle’s Philadelphia office among the “2018 Best Places to Work in Greater Philadelphia.” As with most “best of” compilers, the PBJ relies on local employees’ own assessments of their businesses and organizations. Scores rise or fall based on how employees rate their employers relative to key performance criteria.

The Philadelphia office earned high marks with respect to work environment, emphasis on professional development and willingness to embrace change and new ideas. Respondents cited several of the office’s ongoing and special programs—from office luncheons to staff appreciation weeks to “Bring Your Child to Work Day”—in their assessments.

“We could not be more pleased that this kind of recognition has been accorded the office by the most prized and discerning authorities of all: our own attorneys and staff,” said Andrew C. Kassner, Chairman and CEO of Drinker Biddle. “We share these same values with so many of our clients and recognize that our service to them improves as a function of a healthy workplace environment. We’re committed to earning our place on ‘best of’ lists in all Drinker Biddle locations as the Philadelphia office now shares this honor with our New York City office, which has won a similar award three out of the last four years.”

Drinker Biddle’s specific ranking will be announced at an August 2 event in Philadelphia. “Wherever we land,” noted Kassner, “we congratulate and thank our colleagues in the Philadelphia office and encourage them to build on the programs that contributed to their receipt of this well-deserved honor.”
