Jennifer Dean, Darren Cahr and Drinker Biddle’s IP team Ranked in World Trademark Review 1000 for 2018
Drinker Biddle's Intellectual Property Practice Group was named in the prestigious World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) for 2018. Both our Chicago and Washington, D.C., offices were ranked in their respective territories.
The Chicago office was rated Bronze, with a special recognition for partner Darren Cahr:
“The ‘terrific’ Darren Cahr takes all of these values to heart. ‘He does it all – trademarks, advertising and marketing, clearance, trial work, and more – he has a really diversified skill set.’ ‘Cahr is extremely smart and has excellent judgement and common sense. Clients have nothing but good things to say about him’ – ‘he is a splendid lawyer and person.’”
The Washington, D.C., office was also rated Bronze in the category of “Prosecution and Strategy;” and Jennifer Dean was highlighted:
“Jennifer Dean holds down the fort as the vice chair of the IP ensemble and chair of the trademarks division. Her fine-grained knowledge of soft IP law allows her to adopt a panoramic perspective when guarding portfolios. Of late, she has had particular success assisting brand owners that have had their marks used for fraudulent purposes.”
Darren Cahr and Jennifer Dean have been ranked in the WTR 1000 every year since 2015. All individuals named on the list were included because the World Trademark Review received substantive, positive feedback about them from industry peers.
