Drinker Biddle Named One of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women

PHILADELPHIA – Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has again been named one of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women by Working Mother magazine. This prestigious list recognizes the law firms that most successfully retain and promote women lawyers, and that are actively committed to improving the status of women in their firms. This is the fifth year that Drinker Biddle has been featured on the list.

“As a firm, we strive to create an environment where our female lawyers thrive in their professional and personal lives,” said Andrew C. Kassner, Chairman and CEO of Drinker Biddle. “We are honored to be recognized for our dedication to professional development, mentorship and leadership opportunities for our women lawyers.”

In determining the Top 50 firms, Working Mother scores firms on factors such as female representation and advancement at the firm, professional development opportunities, paid parental leave, and flexible schedules.

The career progression of female lawyers at Drinker Biddle is supported by the Women’s Leadership Committee (WLC). The WLC regularly works with firm leadership to review policies and hosts internal business development coaching programs, rainmaking forums and other initiatives that are open to all female attorneys. The WLC recently hosted two women’s leadership retreats, at which more than 100 participants came together with firm leadership to share ideas on supporting women in their professional careers.

“We work hard to create programs that support the recruitment, retention and promotion of female attorneys,” said Jennifer Breuer and Lynne Anne Anderson, partners and co-chairs of Drinker Biddle’s Women’s Leadership Committee. “We are excited to be recognized for these efforts to build a more equitable and inclusive workplace.”
