Faegre Baker Daniels Promotes Jonathon Gunn and Katherine Newman to Associates in London

Faegre Baker Daniels is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Jonathon Gunn and Katherine Newman to associates in the firm’s London office.

Jonathon Gunn is a corporate lawyer who helps private companies operate and grow through transactions. He advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, investment and other private company matters, including drafting shareholders’ and investment agreements, contract preparation and review, and third party due diligence.

Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Gunn served as a legal intern with the Citizens Advice Bureau at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Katie Newman advises clients on labor and employment issues and employment litigation. Her experience includes issues around recruitment, termination and discrimination as well as transactional work. She also counsels multinational businesses on worldwide labor and employment issues, including merger, acquisition and joint venture transactions, foreign hires and advising on laws applicable to U.K. facilities of foreign-owned enterprises.

As a trainee solicitor at Faegre Baker Daniels, Katie has worked in the corporate, litigation, global immigration and employment practice groups. Katie studied English Literature at the University of Oxford and, prior to studying law, worked at the Centre for Social Justice in Westminster.
