Ryan Miske Named an Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer
Faegre Baker Daniels Partner Ryan Miske has been named a 2015 Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer.
The Up & Coming Attorney recognition is given to distinguished lawyers within their first 10 years of practice. Criteria for selection include: professional accomplishment, leadership, service to the community and service to the profession.
Miske, partner in the firm’s corporate group, was chosen for his involvement on an extensive list of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including the recently announced $775 million acquisition of Applegate Farms by Hormel Foods, the 2014 sale of the Star Tribune, and the $1.15 billion sale of MOM Brands to Post Holdings in early 2015.
Miske’s community involvement also distinguished him among nominees. He serves as the current president of the Minnesota chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, a global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Miske is also a former editor-in-chief of the University of Minnesota Law School’s Minnesota Law Review. While serving as editor-in-chief, Miske created the Minnesota Law Review Alumni Advisory Board, and recruited prominent alumni in the community to spearhead it. Miske served as president of the advisory board for its first five years.
Up & Coming attorneys will be honored at a ceremony on September 10, and will be profiled in Minnesota Lawyer at that time.
