Elizabeth A. Diffley Named One of Philadelphia’s 40 Under 40
Elizabeth A. Diffley, a partner in Drinker Biddle & Reath’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group, has been named one of Philadelphia’s 40 Under 40 by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The annual list recognizes a select group of young leaders who are proven performers in their respective industries and who have shaped the community in ways that have made greater Philadelphia a better place to do business and live.
A partner since 2013, Beth was recognized for her work representing Fortune 500 companies in complex matters, including SEC reporting compliance obligations, registered offerings, and multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions.
Beth is an integral member of Drinker Biddle's Women's Leadership Committee where she organizes and supervises training programs, mentoring programs and formal and informal networking opportunities. She also dedicates her time to corporate governance law initiatives for younger lawyers. She is a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and the Alliance Française of Philadelphia, and also serves as treasurer of the Board of Directors of Medical Students for Choice.
Beth earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an articles editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. She received her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is fluent in French.
The Philadelphia Business Journal will honor this year’s winners during a ceremony at the Crystal Tea Room on May 19.
