Stacie Gonsalves Brings Government Contracts Experience to FaegreBD Litigation Team

Stacie L. Gonsalves has joined Faegre Baker Daniels' Des Moines, Iowa, office as an associate. She is a litigator who will focus on securities and financial services and issues related to government contracts.

Gonsalves previously practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Wiley Rein, where she successfully defended multimillion-dollar contracts during bid protests before the Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. She has experience conducting internal investigations, responding to Inspector General and Department of Justice investigations, and defending claims disputes before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.

During law school, Gonsalves was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Loren Smith in the United States Court of Federal Claims and a legal intern with a county district attorney's office. She also served as a summer associate with Computer Sciences Corporation and a Houston law firm.

Gonsalves earned her law degree from Howard University in 2012 and a bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 2008. She is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
