Three FaegreBD Attorneys Named Among Nation's Top 250 Women Litigators

Leslie A. Fields, Andrea Roberts Pierson and Wendy J. Wildung, partners at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, were listed among the top women litigators in the United States by Benchmark Litigation's 2013 edition of Top 250 Women in Litigation.

Top 250 Women in Litigation honors America's leading women trial lawyers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Honorees were selected based on research conducted for the 2013 edition of parent publication Benchmark Litigation. Peer review and depth of attorneys' litigation careers were key to selection.

In Colorado, Top 250 Women called Fields "an expert in eminent domain law…representing landowners, energy providers, and pipeline and transmission line companies." The recognition highlighted her extensive career, saying "Fields has argued numerous precedent-setting cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court on behalf of both private landowners and government entities." Fields serves on FaegreBD's management board.

Pierson, also a member of the firm's management board, was one of only two Indiana attorneys highlighted by Top 250 Women in 2013. The publication noted that she handles trial and appellate matters in the U.S. and Canada for clients involved in product liability and general commercial matters. Pierson was praised for the counsel she provides to companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive and medical device sectors.

The publication recognized Wildung as one of the top women litigators in Minnesota, citing the "dozens of matters at the trial and appellate levels" she has handled, "including defense D&O and corporations in securities class actions." Wildung handles a broad range of business disputes, with a particular emphasis on securities litigation and legal disputes involving publicly-held companies.
