Drinker Biddle Hosts Roundtable on Impact Investing & Clean Energy

The firm recently hosted a roundtable event in the New York office on Impact Investing and Clean Energy with special guest speaker Dr. David Danielson, Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy.  Impact Investing is defined as “investments made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return”.  Organized by Christopher Berendt, Of Counsel in the Environment & Energy Group, the roundtable discussed impact investing in clean energy and what the future looks like for both.
