Emma Vennesson Joins Growing Faegre Baker Daniels London Employment Team

Emma Vennesson has joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as an associate solicitor in the firm's labor and employment law practice.

Vennesson has counseled multinational companies in financial, transportation, manufacturing and other industries on a wide range of employment matters. Her experience includes advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancies, employment and service contracts, severance agreements, post-termination restrictions, and claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Vennesson was a solicitor with Hill Dickinson LLP and prior to that with international firm, Salans LLP (now merged with Dentons LLP). She earned her LL.B. degree with honors from University College, London, in 2000 and achieved a distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, London, in 2004. Vennesson is a bilingual English and French speaker, and also speaks Spanish.

Faegre Baker Daniels' London office was named England's 2013 Law Firm of the Year for Restructuring Law and Labour Law by Corporate INTL, a leading business magazine with a worldwide audience.

Vennesson joins Faegre Baker Daniels' growing labor and employment team after Katrina Cooper brought prominent legal expertise in immigration law in February. As counsel with the firm's immigration and global mobility group, Cooper's 20-year career includes developing an impressive knowledge base in UK and Irish immigration.
