David Gross, Natalie Hanlon-Leh, Ken Liebman and Nina Wang Ranked by IAM Among the World's Leading Patent Practitioners

David Gross, Natalie Hanlon-Leh, Ken Liebman and Nina Wang of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP have been ranked among the world's foremost intellectual property litigation lawyers in 2012 by the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine's IAM Patent 1000: The World's Leading Patent Practitioners. Also, Faegre Baker Daniels has been ranked among the top IP firms in both Colorado and Minnesota.

The inaugural issue of the research guide identifies best-in-class patent prosecution, licensing and litigation practitioners in 50 key jurisdictions around the globe. Over five months, IAM conducted almost 1,000 telephone interviews with numerous attorneys at law, patent lawyers and in-house counsel to gather market intelligence on the leading players in the field. Individuals qualify for a listing in the IAM Patent 1000 when they receive sufficient positive feedback from peers and clients with knowledge of their practice and the market within which they operate.

According to IAM Patent 1000, clients applaud Faegre Baker Daniels lawyers for taking complicated technical and legal issues and presenting them in a clear, understandable way. Liebman is praised as a "terrific litigator" with a diverse practice and special focus on medical technology and IT companies. The guide points to Gross for "thorough analysis and pragmatic advice" as keys to his "impressive number of courtroom victories."

The firm's Denver IP team, the publication points out, "Has an enviable reputation regionally, thanks to the sterling work of Nina Wang and Natalie Hanlon-Leh." Wang is described as an esteemed figure who, as clients attest, can always be relied on "to do a fantastic job in patent litigation." The guide calls Hanlon-Leh "one of the most experienced IP litigators in the state," noting the adeptness with which she "puts her trial skills to use in disputes involving a diversity of technologies."

Last year, IAM recognized Gross and Liebman among the world's foremost patent litigators in IAM 250: The World's Leading Patent Litigators. Liebman was also recognized for his work in medical device litigation in IAM Life Sciences 250: The World's Leading Life Sciences Patent Litigators in 2010.
