Baker & Daniels Welcomes Eight New Partners on January 1

Baker & Daniels LLP has announced the addition of eight new partners, effective January 1, 2009. At the firm's annual fall meeting, the partnership voted to admit the following former associates to partner:

Brent A. Auberry, a member of the tax group who practices from Baker & Daniels' downtown Indianapolis office. Auberry, who joined the firm in 2001, received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from the University of Southern Indiana and law degree magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

Craig M. Borowski, who practices in the firm's labor and employment group from the downtown Indianapolis office. Borowski, who joined Baker & Daniels in 2000, earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University and law degree magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

Stuart R. Buttrick, a member of the labor and employment group who practices from Baker & Daniels' downtown Indianapolis office. Buttrick, who joined the firm in 1999, received his bachelor's degree from DePauw University and law degree magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

Stephanie A. Gumm, who focuses on domestic and international trademark protection and enforcement in the firm's intellectual property group from the downtown Indianapolis office. Gumm, who joined Baker & Daniels in 2006, received her bachelor's degree cum laude from Bellarmine University and law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Terry E. Hall, who leads the firm's energy and climate change legal team from the downtown Indianapolis office where she also practices in commercial transactions and business restructuring. Hall, who joined Baker & Daniels in 2001, earned her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin and law degree summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

Susan W. Kline, a member of Baker & Daniels' labor and employment group who practices from the downtown Indianapolis office. Kline, who joined the firm in 2002, received her bachelor's degree summa cum laude from Butler University, Master of Business Administration from Butler University and law degree summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

Shannon K. Reed, who practices in health care law from the firm's Fort Wayne office. Reed, who joined Baker & Daniels in 2000, earned her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law.

Pat A. Scheiderer, a member of Baker & Daniels' real estate and corporate finance groups who practices from the Fort Wayne office. Scheiderer, who joined the firm in 2000, received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University with distinction and law degree summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.
