Baker & Daniels Establishing Energy, Clean Technology and Climate Change Practice

Baker & Daniels LLP is pleased to announce the establishment of an energy, clean technology and climate change law and policy practice. The practice combines the firm's legal and consulting services and is intended to assist clients with the fast emerging and increasingly complex issues driving national and global discussions on energy security, emissions, reductions and the economic impacts of the changing global climate.

The group is led by Terry E. Hall, in Baker & Daniels' Indianapolis office, and Andrew L. Ehrlich, of B&D Consulting in Washington, D.C. The team's unique blend of legal and consulting expertise positions the group to provide comprehensive advice on energy issues ranging from compliance with climate change regulations to interest in becoming involved in the renewable energy sector.

"We recognized early that the increasing public and private attention to energy and global climate change represented both risks and opportunities to clients," said Hall. The team will also utilize the expertise of Baker & Daniels' international practice with members in the firm's Beijing office, directly benefiting globally oriented clients seeking opportunities in international renewable energy and carbon trading markets.
