Overview
Katherine maintains a strong pro bono practice with a focus on clients’ immigration and family law needs. She has achieved success for her clients in immigration court, USCIS cases and Marion County (Indiana) court. During law school, Katherine represented families in the child welfare system as a three-semester student attorney in University of Michigan’s Child Advocacy Law Clinic, and she regularly volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project.
Katherine also learned from a variety of experiences prior to her legal career, including refugee resettlement work in the U.S. as well as internships with a fair-trade organization in Ghana and with Member of Parliament Ben Wallace in the UK.
