Leading U.S. Manufacturing Company Receives Immigration Counsel

North America - United States | Europe | North America

A diversified U.S.-based company, a leading supplier of highly engineered and specialty products for the transportation industry, is developing strategies to face increased USCIS scrutiny on employer-sponsored visas. The company has selected our firm’s immigration and global mobility team as its partner and advisor in this area.

This move is part of the company’s overall decision to leverage more engineering, design and supply chain expertise of experienced professionals who work in newly acquired European subsidiaries. These strategies will, for example, expand the company’s use of O-1 work visas (for those with extraordinary ability in business, engineering or science) and L-1 work visas (for managers and ‘specialized knowledge’ professionals who have advanced skills in their fields) to bring experience and qualifications to the U.S. which are in short supply.
