Maya Yusim secures patent protection in the fields of electronics and software, with an emphasis on wireless communication and networking technologies. Her strong technical background, years of work as an electrical engineer, and extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications allow Maya to quickly understand clients’ technologies and obtain strong patents to protect their intellectual property rights.
Past Experience
During college, Maya served as a research assistant at the University of Illinois's Center for Computational Electromagnetics, where she developed software for calculation and display of electromagnetic scattering patterns, as well as antenna radiation fields for a variety of antenna configurations.
Prior to her patent law career, Maya was a senior electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman, where she designed and implemented communication systems for airborne radar applications.
