Overview
Joint Ventures and Strategic Partnerships
Pam’s practice often involves negotiating joint ventures and establishing strategic partnerships. One example is her representation of an early-stage developer of information solutions in a complex transaction involving the sale and field-specific license-back of certain IT assets to a major provider of IT solutions to the health care industry.
Outsourcing, Digital Agreements and Technology Licensing
Pam negotiates agreements for product distribution channels and crafts online agreements with business customers and consumers. Pam represented a major bank in all of its technology licensing negotiations and development work, including the creation of customer-facing services. She also helped a major municipality negotiate an agreement to outsource an innovative energy and security management system for all city-owned and operated buildings.
Intellectual Property
Pam seeks to ensure that clients’ technology assets are fully protected through copyright, trademark, patent and trade secret techniques, while she provides practical assistance in achieving clients’ business goals.
Personal Interests
Outside of practicing law, Pam’s interests include travel to all parts of the world, cooking and entertaining, biking (on her work commute) and making olive oil on the farm she and her husband own in Italy.
