For more than 30 years, Alan Vickery has served as litigation and trial counsel for health care providers and for some of the nation’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in complex products liability litigation and commercial disputes. Alan also has served as national, regional and state-wide counsel in mass tort litigation, product liability disputes, medical negligence cases and complex commercial matters for clients in the life sciences and health care industries.

Alan is extensively involved in the firm’s attorney recruiting, hiring and mentoring programs.

Product Liability, Mass Tort Multidistrict and State-Wide Consolidated Litigation

Alan has served as national and state-wide litigation and trial counsel for clients in the health care and life sciences industries, including:

  • National coordination and trial counsel for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in hundreds of cases involving hormone replacement therapy medication
  • Litigation and trial counsel for several major pharmaceutical companies in individual and mass-tort product liability litigations involving silicone gel breast implants, antidepressant medication, and other prescription and over-the-counter medications
  • Defense of national health care provider in mass tort litigation involving hundreds of cases in which negligence, fraud and complex commercial claims were asserted
  • Defense of pharmaceutical company in product liability cases involving clinical trials
  • Extensive experience working with company witnesses and scientific and medical experts
