Cindy Unegbu provides counseling and litigation services to prevent clients from being hemmed in by individual suits, as well as enforcement and class actions.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Cindy was an associate at a leading professional services firm based in New York City. She built a diversified practice, representing clients facing complex commercial litigation and securities class actions, as well as matters stemming from labor and employment, compliance, intellectual property and white collar. She also braced companies for internal corporate, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), attorneys general and FBI investigations. Her clients ranged from government officials to media, pharmaceutical and financial services companies.

Cindy previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Emmet G. Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school, Cindy was a systems integration analyst at Accenture Consulting in Washington, D.C. Her priorities included strengthening fraud detection and data privacy measures for clients and assisting in the reorganization of the U.S. Postal Service’s (USPS) corporate structure and business model.
