Kevin Swanson helps clients file and prosecute patents. He specializes in electronic, electrical, biomedical, electro-mechanical, mechanical and process technologies. Kevin also works with analog and digital electronics, telecommunications, semiconductors, business methods and computer hardware and software.

Engineering Experience

Kevin worked as an electrical engineer at Harris Corporation, designing and developing semiconductors for high performance military applications. He also worked as an electrical engineer and project manager at GE Interlogix, where he designed and developed gate arrays and system peripherals.

Patent Experience

Between engineering jobs, Kevin gained experience as a patent agent and attended law school to deepen his legal expertise. Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Kevin worked as a patent agent at a Minneapolis firm for over 11 years, writing, filing and prosecuting patent applications.
