Overview
Emily Steeb advises product manufacturers on resolving complex disputes in and out of court at the state and federal levels. She focuses her practice on medical drugs and devices, and she has supported these types of manufacturers in all phases of product liability litigation, from pre-suit negotiations through trial.
Trial Experience
Emily has been involved in multiple bellwether trials — including crafting strategy for bellwether selection during the pre-trial phase — during multidistrict mass tort litigation related to medical devices. On these trial teams, Emily plays a key role in preparing expert witnesses, particularly physicians, to help support clients’ arguments.
Tax Background
Before realizing her passion for product liability litigation, Emily focused on state and local tax law and helped corporate clients protest assessments by the Indiana Department of Revenue for nearly two years.Services & Industries
