Sonia Shewchuk helps clients access the capital markets through public and private securities offerings. She has expertise in various types of offerings for bank holding companies and banks. In the last few years, she has handled public offerings totaling approximately $100 billion. Sonia understands the latest innovative financial products offered in the capital markets and provides responsive client service to enable clients to respond to changing capital market conditions.

Sonia represents issuers in connection with offerings of equity, debt, convertible debt, first mortgage bonds and hybrid capital, as well as offerings of securities denominated in foreign currencies. She also represents clients in connection with offerings of structured products linked to single stocks, stock indices, exchange traded funds and other market measures. She also has expertise in tender offers, exchange offers and consent solicitations.

Sonia has assisted several companies in establishing medium-term note programs, bank note programs and commercial paper programs, facilitating immediate access to the capital markets.

Sonia regularly represents Wells Fargo & Company and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in connection with their capital market activities and also represents Xcel Energy, Inc., Alimentation Couche-Tard, Inc. and Black Hills Corporation.
