Overview
International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Fellowship
After law school, Mitch completed a one-year research fellowship with the IAPP. In this role, Mitch conducted research and published thought leadership on the practical implications of the latest developments in the data privacy field. He developed an in-depth knowledge of state-level privacy law developments and created resources for privacy professionals on topics such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). He worked directly with the IAPP’s research director, general counsel and data protection officer, and delivered a presentation on the CCPA at the Europe Data Protection Congress in Brussels.
Personal Interests
Mitch is an avid sports fan of Minnesota’s professional teams and he is happy to discuss baseball analytics during happy hour. He also dons a Chelsea FC jersey on occasion. On the weekends he spends time with his wife; they can often be found wandering the aisles of the local farmers’ markets or trying a new restaurant.
