With a deep understanding of civil litigation, Ken defends his clients’ interests from deposition strategy to jury selection and trial theme development. He has litigated and tried to verdict cases involving claims of professional malpractice, breach of contract, defamation, wrongful termination, premises liability, sexual harassment and tortious interference with contract.
Product Liability & Mass Torts
Ken has particular experience defending complex pharmaceutical actions in state, federal and appellate courts. He defends clients in personal injury litigation related to prescription drugs and medical products and against allegations of fraud and off-label promotion of prescription antipsychotic medicines.
In 2016, Ken was awarded the J. Austin Norris Award by the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia for distinguished service to the legal profession and the community at large.
- Served as defense liaison counsel in personal injury litigation regarding prescription and nonprescription antipsychotic medicine, anticonvulsant medicine and pelvic mesh products in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas' Mass Tort Program.
- First chaired two attorney general-initiated cases alleging fraud and off-label promotion of prescription antipsychotic medicines.
