Overview
Roya Imani focuses her practice in the area of corporate restructuring across industries. She represents all constituents in bankruptcy, including debtors, creditors, purchasers of distressed assets and other interested parties in a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
Roya has experience with a variety of corporate restructuring and commercial real estate matters, including Chapters 11 and 15 filings, financing negotiations, leasing for large commercial entities, development-related agreements, and drafting motions and proposed orders in connection with exit financing.
Previously, she served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert E. Grossman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Stacey L. Meisel for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Personal Interests
Outside the office, Roya enjoys writing, languages and linguistics, and playing piano.
