Simone Hussussian supports clients in litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior Experience
During law school, Simone was a student advocate for Philadelphia Legal Aid, where she counseled clients under attorney supervision on matters pertaining to state and federal public benefits. She was a teaching assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Law School for a course in health care fraud. Simone served as editor-in-chief of The Regulatory Review and associate editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.
Simone was a summer associate at Faegre Baker Daniels, where she worked on litigation matters.
Legal and Judicial Internships
Simone was a law clerk for VillageMD, a primary health care provider in Chicago, where she reviewed the terms of physician and advanced provider contracts and assisted in tracking provider compensation standards and compensation review.
For the U.S. Department of Health and Humans Services’ Office of Counsel to the Inspector General in Washington, DC, Simone served as a law clerk. Her duties included reviewing Self-Disclosure Protocol submissions, corporate integrity agreement annual reports and EMTALA case referrals, as well as researching legal questions about fraud and abuse enforcement.
During law school, as a judicial intern in the chambers of Judges Wendy Beetlestone and Michael M. Baylson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Simone performed short- and long-term legal research and drafting for criminal and civil actions.
Personal Interests
Simone enjoys road cycling, tennis, exploring new cuisines and bass guitar.
