Overview

Bethan Griffith advises and represents clients in corporate restructurings and insolvency litigation. She works with clients in various sectors, including insolvency office holders, banks and corporations. She acts for clients in both court-driven procedures and out-of-court restructurings.

Insolvency Litigation

Bethan represents clients in proceedings pertaining to the Insolvency Act and related litigation before the High Court and Court of Appeal, including litigation arising from current and former corporate restructurings and insolvencies and personal insolvency. 

Restructuring and Insolvency

Bethan has advised on restructurings for corporations of varying sizes across numerous sectors and jurisdictions. Clients entrust her to handle any legal issues that emerge in times of financial distress, and she has managed insolvencies and restructurings involving aspects of security issues and claims, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence and breach of contract, trustee’s duties, regulatory issues, and allegations of defrauding creditors.

Personal Interests

Bethan enjoys playing and watching sports, particularly tennis, and reading.
