Overview

Daniel Dorson represents and advises employers on labor and employment issues with an emphasis on union relations and organizing. Daniel’s labor law experience includes assisting clients with union organizing and decertification campaigns, representation proceedings, unfair labor practice proceedings, labor arbitrations and managing day-to-day labor relations.

Outside of the labor law context, Daniel counsels employers on various employment issues including drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, conducting internal investigations, and planning and preparing for litigation. Daniel also defends employers against claims brought by current and former employees in federal court and before administrative agencies.

Past Experience

While in law school, Daniel worked as a law clerk for the National Football League’s Management Council in New York City where he assisted with the representation of member clubs in labor relations proceedings. Daniel also served as a legal intern for the Arizona Coyotes and a Teaching Assistant for Arizona State’s Sport Law and Business Program.

Prior to law school, Daniel worked for four National Football League franchises in football operations and administration. Daniel began his work in sports as a ball boy for the Indianapolis Colts.
