Dustin DeNeal advises and advocates for financial institutions and businesses dealing with financial distress. He focuses on bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights and banking regulation, including payment systems and consumer financial services.
Bankruptcy & Restructuring
Dustin represents debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, contract counterparties and investors in bankruptcy cases throughout the country.
Finance Litigation
Dustin defends financial institution clients from payment mechanism, TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, commercial contract and other claims in courts across the country. He prosecutes and defends foreclosure, replevin and receivership proceedings and handles bankruptcy adversary proceedings and contested matters for both debtors and creditors.
Banking Regulation
Dustin counsels financial institutions, including credit unions, on regulatory and business matters, including payment systems, consumer finance regulation and claims, governance, data security, privacy, products and collections.
Real Estate
Dustin has represented several of the largest commercial and residential real estate developers in the Midwest in successful reorganizations. He has also represented lenders, including banks, private equity and trusts, in the liquidation of real estate assets, both in and out of court. Dustin has developed a complementary practice counseling real estate investors in general business matters and transactions.

Dustin advises college and university clients on finance, bankruptcy and collection matters unique to higher education.
