Overview
Brad Dempsey helps organizations and individuals resolve high-stakes disputes. An experienced lawyer and leader of the firm's Colorado finance and restructuring litigation team, he focuses on corporate restructurings and reorganizations, bankruptcy litigation (contested matters and adversary proceedings), receiverships, negotiation of workout and forbearance agreements, real estate litigation, appeals, and other complex financial matters. Brad has represented a variety of parties in complex cases before state, federal, bankruptcy, and appellate courts throughout the United States.
Brad is also a co-leader of the firm's outdoor industry services group.
Brad also works with homeowners to mediate and resolve disputes within HOA communities. He participated in the enactment of bipartisan legislation to reform and improve Colorado's Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) to protect political speech and improve HOA governance. Brad has worked to promote best practices in community governance and CCIOA compliance through two decades of service to complex residential and resort communities in Jefferson County, Summit County and Eagle County.
Personal Interests
Brad is a proud Colorado native, husband and father of two, community volunteer, Colorado Football fan, life-long skier, student pilot, and photographer.
