Katie Crispi leverages extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious corporate recovery and turnaround matters to benefit clients across industries and borders. She is well versed in the areas of insolvency and restructuring, having practiced in both London and New York. Katie has experience advising debtors, creditors, insolvency professionals, and other stakeholders in relation to cross-border and U.S. domestic insolvency proceedings across a wide range of business sectors.

Katie served as a law clerk to Judge Kevin Gross in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

  • Advised a global services provider on restructuring and migration options
  • Advised UK and EU creditors on involvement and potential roles in Chapter 11 cases
  • Acted for the joint provisional liquidators of a Cayman Islands incorporated private equity group and related funds across various transactions
  • Acted for the creditors on a permitted group reorganization of an Eastern European conglomerate
  • Acted for an energy conglomerate on an ESG (environmental, social and governance) loan refinancing
  • Advised joint provisional liquidators in a dispute over the validity of security and resolution of proprietary claims

New York

  • Advised a European pharmaceutical company in its acquisition of prescription drug rights impacted by a Chapter 11 sale
  • Acted for Public Interest Corporation SOC Limited as a creditor in the bankruptcy of Erin Energy Corporation in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas
  • Acted for a party in interest in the Fibrant Chapter 11 case
  • Advised a major bank on the status of its security for multiple million- and billion-dollar revolving facilities secured by assets in multiple jurisdictions
  • Provided restructuring-related advice to financial institutions
  • Reviewed and enforced security for institutional lenders
