In an article for Governing magazine online, Faegre Drinker Consulting Principal Skip Stitt and Stephen Goldsmith, Director of the Innovations Programs at the Harvard Kennedy School, co-authored a checklist for effective financial strategies during the coronavirus crisis.

They write that while the coronavirus pandemic is forcing local governments to find new ways to cut costs, it's also an opportunity to build sound financial practices into their cultures, not just for now but for the long term.
