Jerry Hathaway Speaks with Insurance Journal on Business Restrictions Due to COVID-19

Jerry Hathaway provided insight to Insurance Journal about states imposing restrictions on business operations due to the coronavirus outbreak.
"I am seeing a number of situations where a business is deemed essential in one state, but non-essential in the state next door. That is nuts. There should be a federal standard." JERRY HATHAWAY

The article further noted that there is no federal restriction on what constitutes an “essential business,” which leaves states to make the ultimate determination.
