In an Inside Indiana Business Roundtable, Murray Clark Expresses Optimism for Job Growth in Central Indiana

Having served 11 years as an Indiana state senator, Faegre Baker Daniels partner Murray Clark has his finger on the pulse of Indiana business and politics. He participated in a roundtable hosted by Gerry Dick on Inside Indiana Business focusing largely on business expansions around Indiana as the economy improves.

Clark said that the expansion of Indianapolis-based Angie's List is a "huge win to the city" that will continue to draw young people to live and work in downtown Indianapolis. The company is poised to add more than 1,000 jobs in downtown Indianapolis with their proposed expansion.

The roundtable also talked about a major development project in the City of Westfield. The Grand Sports Park includes hotels and convention space anchored by a large sports facility. "This is bold," Clark said. "This is an extraordinary economic development project to build this 400-acre sports facility. Mayor Cook and the leaders of Westfield didn't do it because they like youth sports, they did it for economic development reasons."
