David Gogol Is Optimistic About Securing Funding for Ohio Flood Assistance

In 2007, flooding of the Blanchard River in Ohio damaged homes and businesses in the communities of Ottawa and Findlay. FaegreBD Consulting has been hired to secure $1.5 million in federal funding that will enable the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to complete the final report needed for construction funding. In an interview with Findlay's newspaper, The Courier, David Gogol expressed optimism on the region securing the funds. "Fortunately, we have probably the highest profile corps project with the least price attached to it," Gogol said. He also praised congressional representatives, saying they've been "extremely effective and have really paid attention to the project."
