IP Watchdog Live Conference

Bob Stoll, intellectual property partner in Washington, D.C. and deputy chair of the firm’s IP group, moderated a panel entitled “Is the Federal Circuit Killing Software Patents?” at the IP Watchdog Live Conference in Dallas, Texas on September 14, 2021. The conversation focused on the viability of software patents in light of a recent Federal Circuit decision and unknowns about whether the Supreme Court will weigh in or if Congress will act on the issue. The other panelists included Russ Slifer of Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, Ray Millien of Harness Dickey and Ben Cappel of AddyHart.
