We’ll feature a series of informative presentations/panels with participation from industry thought leaders on a variety of topics, including litigation trends, fraud fighting, aging in place, legislative/regulatory issues, and more.
Our keynote session will focus on the progress of the NAIC’s Long-Term Care Insurance (EX) Task Force. The session will be moderated by community leader Jan Graeber of the ACLI, and panelists will include:
- Michael Conway, Colorado Commissioner of Insurance and Vice-Chair of the NAIC Long-Term Care Insurance (EX) Task Force
- Scott A. White, Virginia Commissioner of Insurance and Chair of the NAIC Long-Term Care Insurance (EX) Task Force
- Vince Bodnar, Partner and Long-Term Care Practice Leader, Oliver Wyman
- Marie Roche, Former Assistant Vice President, LTC Contracts/Legislative Services, John Hancock Life Insurance Co.
Following our keynote panel, additional sessions will address the important issues facing the long-term care community. One session in the early stages of development will focus on technological advances that are coming to the LTCi community, and the attendant ethical considerations. We expect this session to feature live demonstrations of one or more new technologies and a discussion of the opportunities, risks, and issues associated with these advancements.
After an energizing day of programming, please join us for dinner. We promise a relaxing evening with old and new friends alike!
