Jim and the panel shared insights on:

  • How can insurance providers improve their consumer experience?
  • How can new technologies be leveraged to harness the full potential of data and provide a more personalized offering?

The primary question for technology innovation is how to deliver better and easier customer experiences. Only 21 percent of surveyed insurance customers said that their online self-service was good. Insurers must keep in mind that customer expectations are not set by the insurance industry, but by the best in any industry. One example of that would be the customer’s experience with Amazon.
