2020 Women in Law and Leadership Summit: Minneapolis

CenterForce’s Women in Law and Leadership Summit — an annual conference exploring the obstacles, risks and rewards on the path to a fulfilling and productive career for women and minority leaders — will feature Faegre Drinker Partner Kristin Jones Pierre as a speaker on December 8, 2020. Kristin will participate in a panel discussion titled The Current Landscape: Gender Diversity, Pay Equity and Creating Change.

The inspiration for the panel topic is Time's 2017 person of the year — The Silence Breakers. How can the legal community use this momentum to create more opportunities and diversity? Metrics including pay disparities and fewer women in leadership positions show inequality both in-house and at law firms. Panelists will discuss emerging trends to combat implicit and explicit sexism nationwide.

This panel will examine:
