Overview

Washington, DC, partner and cochair of the IP Group, Bob Stoll, participated in the Sedona Conference Promoting Invention, Entrepreneurship, Economic Growth, and Job Creation on June 28, held in the Covington Law Offices in DC. Bob spoke on the opening panel titled “Section 101, Bilski and Alice Abstract Ideas,” about patent subject matter eligibility. The panel was moderated by Robert G. Sterne from Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C. and included Azra Hadzimehmedovic from Tensegrity Law Group, the Honorable Randall R. Rader, Russell Slifer from Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner and CEO of Black Hills IP, and Leah Poynter Waterland from Cisco. Over 100 practitioners attended.
