Understanding the Policy and Operational Issues of the California Consumer Privacy Act

Overview

The FCBA’s Privacy and Data Security Committee will sponsor a CLE on Tuesday, November 19 entitled “The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): Policy and Operational Issues, as January 1, 2020 Approaches.” There will be two moderated panel discussions – one focusing on understanding the CCPA from a policy perspective and the other focusing on potential compliance and risk hurdles companies may face in preparation for the operational requirements of the CCPA. Drinker Biddle’s Katherine Armstrong will be a speaker on the policy panel along with other leaders in this space from other law firms.
