Privacy Retreat

Minneapolis, MN

The recent FTC privacy report notes that the agency will be increasingly focused on mobile privacy in the months to come. In a breakout session on "Demystifying Mobile Marketing," Leita Walker of Faegre Baker Daniels will highlight the risks of mobile marketing and then provide practical guidance on writing mobile app disclosures and running text-message campaigns during the Twin Cities Privacy Network's seventh annual Privacy Retreat. Walker, a senior associate in the firm's intellectual property group, focuses a large part of her practice on the intersection of privacy, social media and marketing.

The one-day seminar will include a keynote presentation by Billy Hawkes, Data Protection Commissioner of Ireland, and nine panels of more than 20 corporate privacy leaders from Upper Midwest firms, including UnitedHealth Group, Mayo Clinic, US Bank, Best Buy, Thomson Reuters and 3M.
